However, this work reinforces what we have known for a long time - that vision therapy can provide successful treatment of amblyopia in adults. I suggest that you go to www.covd.org to find a vision therapy provider evaluate your son' vision. They can give you their prognosis for visual improvement and estimates of treatment time. My youngest son is just now 16 and I would love to see if it would benefit him so he could pursue a career in law enforcement which has been his dream since age two.
